That sucks man, sorry to here you blew it up. I don't see where 74 mph with a fairly built motor is too far off, i would think that's pretty damn close. And yeah, i know i would be real happy with that number too!! I run a 23p on mine as well, best i've seen on the GPS is about 63 mph with half a tank of fuel and my tubby a$$ in the boat, it sure feels like it could handle quite a bit more speed tho. Hope your new motor works out a little better!

Thanks all.

Junkyard dawg is painted, assembled, and ready to drop in tomorrow AM. Hopefully this one goes better than the last one.

Any update?

I love following this thread. Bummer that the first one went down so soon.
Went to Lake Cumberland on monday and will be here till friday. She had about 20 minutes of run time on the hose and no lake time prior to leaving. The boat is running flawless other than the timing is a lil off and a couple of small adjustments. I am going to get some action shots tomorrow sometime. I am getting alot of attention with her. and love the way she is running. Still dont have near the power of the other motor but its running!

I think Baja's are like A-holes around here, everyone has one. Its crazy in 5 minutes of running, I passed 4 of them. So glad I bought a mate:banana:

Do you need just the frame for the seat or the complete seat? I got 1 original bottom with fiberglass back and also the cushion bottom in good shape. No vinal or foam on either. You could easily use it to duplicate another one. I also have the original steering wheel around here also

A local guy here in cincy. He was not the cheapest quote but there was alot of work in doing what was done. He also gave me a guarantee that if anything fails on his side that it would be fixed on his dime.

That interior look sweet dude!! All together that is one bad ass lookin Enchanter, you might say i'm a little "green" with envy lol!! You're definatly gonna have alot of fun with it!! Very cool! :thumb::cheers:
